Tokiwa: The Manga Apartment

Using an array of gloves in different styles and from different historical periods, the film is a short history of the cinema - from silent movies via pastiches of Buñuel and Fellini and Close Encounters of the Third Kind to a futurist junkyard where tin cans become animated police cars in a city of urban decay.

This 12-minute Brazilian short film employs the found footage style in a slightly different way. The film is presented as a merge of two separate files extracted from the police archives in Sao Paulo, Brazil. On the first one, two policemen talk to each other, while watching and analysing images captured by surveillance cameras that shows a woman being stabbed to death by a couple, just before the two aggressors get killed by a mysterious man that shows up at the place. The second portion of the movie shows the intriguing facts that happen during a police raid on the apartment where the suspect of killing the previous couple lives.

A comical twist on the history of America.

Mi-ryeong marries Ji-kwang and takes him to live at her mansion. He soon seems to fall ill and he requests that his friend, Yeo-ok be hired on to nurse him. However, Yeo-ok and Ji-kwang are really lovers and together they manage to fake Ji-kwang's death. They next torment Mi-ryeong with visions of his 'ghost'. Mi-ryeong dies of fright and Yeo-ok and Ji-kwang marry--but their happiness is short-lived as their nights are interupted by the vengeful spirit of Mi-ryeong.

A group of students tried to make a movie with no script or ideas and this was it. Weird interviews, too many arguments, uncomfortable side plots, and Ryan Ziaks. All leading up to the world premiere of the most brain-rotting experience ever.

The Landrys are blindsided by news of their son's behavior, and must rally to find their way amidst comical family dysfunction.

Boy tricks his father into drinking castor oil. The latter is obliged to defecate in a series of unlikely places, to the evident disgust of members of the Parisian public. The status of this film is rather unusual, since it's not listed in the Pathé catalogues and never appeared in the French press of the time, but a surviving copy is preserved under the German title 'Der Kleine Schlaumeier'. It should not be confused with Gaumont's version "C’est papa qui prend la purge" by Louis Feuillade.
