With input from actor and writer Jan Hlobil, director and cinematographer Rene Smaal presents a film in the true surrealist tradition, in the sense that only 'found' elements were used, and that it defies interpretation based on ordinary cause-and-effect time sequence.

The director Lauri Nurkse tells that Veijarit is a film about "arjensietokyvyttömyys" (= inability to tolerate everyday life) and about the Peter Pan complex. The main actor Mikko Leppilampi says it's about "kolkyttoistavuotiaat" (= thirtyeenagers = people of thirty behaving like teenagers). An immediate reference point is the commedia all'italiana of the 1950s and the 1960s, the black comedy often exposing the infantile stage of development of the Italian male. Saku and Ässä are anti-heroes, but we never fail to sense the humanity behind their shallow and crazy ways. Veijarit is a satire and a parody of a superficial way of life, but there is a vitality in the protagonists that we feel can lead them to a more meaningful stage of existence after the prolonged youth full of sound and fury. There is a motif of transcendence in the imagery of flying: will the balloons carry me or will they burst.

Judge Chandrasekharam is very kind and helpful to the relatives of the culprits. His wife dies after giving birth to a baby boy. His son Raja was killed by two youth (Prasanna Rani and Vijayachander). The judge who now wears the pleader's shoes argues in the favour of the young culprits and shocks the whole audience on bringing out the real intentions of the murder. Sudigundalu (English:Whirlpools): is a 1968 Telugu, drama film directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. The film has garnered the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. The film marked the debut of Nagarjuna Akkineni in a cameo.

The old Captain returns from his voyage and is welcomed by his faithful wife. The mate, a young husky man, is jealous of the Captain, and goes straight to the ship owner's office to knock him. He accomplishes the Captain's discharge. The old Captain breaks the news to his wife, who immediately betakes herself to the office. The old lady goes away disappointed. The new master cares not for his holiday, but returns at once to the ship, where he proceeds to give orders. The old Captain comes for his clothes, and offers his hand to the new Captain, who shakes it most lamely. A month later we see the new Captain drunk in his cabin, while a storm is raging. His men are hard at work at the wheel. The mate then rushes to the Captain's cabin and arouses him. The Captain and mate have a fight over the wheel, and, unable to control her, the ship strikes the rocks and is lost.

Everything is different but nothing has changed. A trip through a sunken maze of memories and dreams.

Sheamus defended his WWE Championship in a steel cage against John Cena, Rey Mysterio defended his World heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger, and The Hart Dynasty defended the Tag Team Championship Belts against The Usos.
