Serial murders involving all kinds have happened. All the victims are from a Music School led by a famous pianist. Conan and company have been invited to a opening concert of the Music Hall built by the pianist. The biggest attraction of this concert is the world famous violin called "Stradivarius" and a special appearance of a singer who has perfect pitch.

In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films. The band performed with drummer/percussionist Tim Barnes (Essex Green, Jukeboxer, Silver Jews).

But their fun is soon cut short when a game of hide-and-seek leads to Sonoko's disappearance.

Story about a farmer.

Kikunosuke was born as a child outside marriage and raised by Tatsukichi, who is the female manager of Japanese traditional restaurant. Tatsukichi drills Kikunosuke hard in a Japanese traditional string instrument, Shamisen, and continence. However, Kikunosuke becomes a “man” by a Geisha, Botan when he turns 18, then he becomes a man who do sex for female and compensates for their unsatisfied physical and mental emptiness as his job, called “Saoshi (The rod master).” Also, he sets up for himself as a master of Shamisen. One day, a lonely club hostess, Nami, appears in front of Kikunosuke. Nami cannot get satisfied with sex and comes to Kikunosuke. He tried to make her happy with using various techniques, yet he gives up. With despaired and humiliated, Kikunosuke goes on a trip to become the best “Saoshi.” Then, Kikunosuke meets Yukino, has many struggles, at a bar, and he decides to sleep with Yukino. However, a mysterious man watching at them from outside.

The film is a sub-story to Kirikou and the Sorceress rather than a straight sequel. The movie is set while Kirikou is still a child and Karaba is still a sorceress. Like Princes et princesses and Les Contes de la nuit, it is an anthology film comprising several episodic stories, each of them describing Kirikou's interactions with a different animals. It is however unique among Michel Ocelot's films, not only in that it is co-directed by Bénédicte Galup (who has previously worked with him as an animator) but also for each of the stories being written by a different person (in all other cases, Ocelot has been the sole writer and director of his films).
