Karishma, the hot-headed Sub-Inspector, struggles with the station’s reconciliation-driven philosophy. Santosh Sharma, a young recruit, navigates loneliness in the city. Their leader, S.H.O. Haseena Mallik, is witty and romantic, leading by example. Adding an amusing twist, a male constable, Cheetah Chaturvedi, works there and is smitten with Santosh. Together, they tackle unique cases with sensitivity while infusing humor and drama into their daily policing. Pushpa and Karishma’s mother-in-law/daughter-in-law banter adds comedy, while ideological clashes between Haseena and Karishma fuel the drama. The show’s blend of eccentric cases and engaging characters makes for an entertaining and heartfelt story.

Unusually for police stories, Gideon was shown as a family man at home though urgent phone calls from his bosses tend to disrupt family plans too often. However, he did admit in "State Visit" that his wife had walked out on him for a while years ago when he put the job first and her second. They live in an expensive detached house in Chelsea.
