Varan-TV was a Swedish TV-series, broadcast in Sveriges Television for two seasons, the first one in 1997 and the second in 1998. Created by the comedian group Varanteatern. The first season contained six half-hour episodes and the second season eight. In the first season Varanteatern represented themselves as a "crazy peep-show with more than 400 kg on stage". The episodes were a mixture of sketches played in front of an audience and prerecorded clips. Both of these elements were closely connected, for example: One person acting in a prerecorded clip which was shown could in the next second appear on the scene set. Some characters could appear repeatedly during an episode and also reappear in other episodes. The second season was composed of different sketches but now without the studio scenes.

World Tour of Scotland is a six-part television series — the first of Billy Connolly's "world tours" — originally broadcast by the BBC in late 1994. It involved his touring around his homeland of Scotland for 54 nights during early 1994, beginning in Greenock and visiting cities and towns and performing live on stage to audiences. However, this, like all his other tours, involved more than just shows: he visited numerous places of historic and scenic value, as well as some places that resonate with his own upbringing. The series was dedicated "with much love and thanks to the people of Scotland". It has since been released on VHS and DVD. On the latter format, the six episodes are split across two discs.

Vivir un poco is a Mexican telenovela, which was produced and broadcast by Televisa in 1985. The story was a remake of the very popular Chilean telenovela, La Madrastra from 1981. Vivir un poco tells the story of the quest of Andrea to find justice and her long-lost children but must face the lies and intrigue of the past and present. A story of questions, why? who? how? and the mystery of finding a real killer and discovering family secrets. When this telenovela aired, during commercial breaks, Televisa showed a 10-second mini commercial where all the suspects to the murder including Andrea were shown one by one and a voice said "Quien es el verdadero asesino, quien?" or " Who is the real killer, who?"

Sawada Michiko, a temporary staff who works for a trading company, has just had her heart broken. Ann and Harold is a very early BBC television programme, and ran for five episodes, all broadcast in 1938. It is known to be the world's first drama serial ever transmitted, and explained the trials of a couple named Ann and Harold respectively, and starred Ann Todd. Little else is known about this programme. No material exists of the show today, as it was aired live before any means of recording programmes existed. In fact, it is unknown if even any photographs survive of this programme.
